Kitchen Warehouse unveils flagship Preston store

Kitchen Warehouse has officially opened the doors to its newly expanded flagship store in Preston (Melbourne), marking a significant milestone for the brand and the local community it has served since February 2017.

Located at the same 4/86 Bell St, Preston location, the newly reimagined store now spans 2,300 square metres, three times the footprint of the original. The result is one of the most immersive kitchenware retail destinations in Australia.

The new store features an expanded product range across cookware, appliances and tableware, all brought to life through lifestyle-led merchandising and curated displays that help customers visualise products in their own homes.

The store introduces a suite of new fixtures, fittings and point-of-sale solutions, alongside a strong focus on interactive in-store experiences, including live product demonstrations and interactive displays that bring Kitchen Warehouse’s product expertise directly to customers.

Justin Zito, General Manager of Stores at Kitchen Warehouse, said, “Preston holds a special place in our story. It’s where we’ve built a loyal community of customers over nearly a decade. This expansion is our way of investing back into that community and raising the bar for what a retail experience can look like in kitchenware. The new store isn’t just bigger, it’s been designed from the ground up to inspire. Whether you’re a passionate home cook, someone who loves to entertain, or simply looking to elevate your kitchen, we’ve created a space that makes it easy to discover, explore and imagine the possibilities.”

The new Preston flagship was launched with a ‘Preston After Hours’ event on Thursday 30 April, an evening where the Kitchen Warehouse team opened the new store to key partners, industry heads including Large Format Retail Association members Amphis Lighting and NHI Group, team members and VIP customers. This was followed by a ‘Housewarming’ party for the general public on Saturday 2 May. The ‘Housewarming’ featured a day of special offers, kitchen demos, and free food and coffee.
