Creating lasting impact: HMC Capital Foundation’s support of Good360

For HMC Capital (ASX:HMC), creating long-term value extends beyond funds management. Originating through the listed group’s real estate platforms; HomeCo Daily Needs REIT (ASX:HDN) and HealthCo Healthcare & Wellness REIT (ASX:HCW), the Group has long focused on creating destinations that support the everyday needs and wellbeing of Australian communities.

This commitment is further strengthened through CommunityCo, an initiative that delivers social impact programs, community partnerships and local engagement activities across the portfolio, helping to create stronger, more connected communities.

Complementing these on-the-ground initiatives is the HMC Capital Foundation. Since its establishment, the HMC Capital Foundation has become an important pillar of HMC Capital’s broader social impact strategy. Guided by a clear mission, the Foundation ensures its funding is directed to organisations that are addressing genuine community needs and delivering measurable impact.

Through charitable grants, scholarships and strategic partnerships, the Foundation is helping create pathways to opportunity while supporting the next generation of Australians to reach their potential. Together, CommunityCo and the Foundation reflect HMC Capital’s belief that creating long-term value extends to delivering meaningful outcomes for the communities it serves.

One organisation aligned closely with this purpose is Good360 Australia, leading not-for-profit organisation that connects brand-new, unused goods from businesses and provides them to people in need. By redirecting goods from waste to people experiencing hardship, Good360 addresses both social need and environmental sustainability, ensuring essential items reach individuals and families who need them most.

This partnership reflects the HMC Capital Foundation’s focus on supporting organisations that deliver practical, measurable and lasting impact.

Earlier in the year, this support came to life, when the HMC Capital Foundation provided funding for 600 hygiene kits for communities across Western Sydney. Behind this support were 600 small but meaningful moments of relief: a parent no longer having to choose between soap and school shoes, a child heading to school feeling clean and confident, a family doing it tough with one less cost to worry about. It was a simple gesture, but one capable of creating a ripple effect through the communities it touched.

“The HMC Capital Foundation was established with a clear mission: to serve youth and break cycles of inequality for future generations. We aspire to support organisations that create meaningful, long-term outcomes for young Australians. Good360’s ability to deliver practical support directly into communities aligns strongly with our mission and demonstrates how thoughtful partnerships can create real and lasting impact,” Andrew Selim, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary of HMC Capital said.

The Foundation forms an important part of HMC Capital’s broader social impact strategy, which includes supporting educational opportunities, youth wellbeing initiatives and programs that improve outcomes for vulnerable Australians. Through partnerships with organisations such as Good360, the Foundation seeks to amplify community impact and ensure support reaches the people who need it most.

Corporate partnerships are at the heart of how Good360 keeps up with growing community need. Through its national network of charities and schools, Good360 helps get everyday essentials to Australians doing it tough, bringing comfort whilst simultaneously reducing waste.

“Support from partners like the HMC Capital Foundation enables us to connect more people with the everyday essentials they need while reducing unnecessary waste,” Alison Covington AM, Founder & Managing Director of Good360, said.

“Every partnership strengthens our ability to support charities and schools across Australia, and behind every item connected is an individual or family who feels a little more supported, and a little less alone.”

Combined with the community-focused initiatives delivered through CommunityCo across HMC’s retail assets, the partnership reflects a broader commitment to creating stronger, more resilient and more connected communities nationwide.

The HMC Capital Foundation has proudly supported, and continues to support, a range of community organisations, including Eat Up Australia, Gotcha4Life, Feel the Magic, Canteen, Social Ventures Australia, Rainbow Club, Project Rockit, Jewish Children’s Aid Society and St John’s Community Services.
