Planet Fitness Enters Victoria

Since entering the Australian Fitness market in 2018, Planet Fitness been focused on the “other 80%”. The other 80% of the population that currently doesn’t have a gym membership today.

The reality remains that the barriers to entry are still too high. Barriers like, inaccessibility, unaffordability, and intimidation. Planet Fitness believes fitness should be fun and affordable to ALL Australians.

Across the17 current locations and 75,000 Planet Fitness Australian members today, they continue to be reminded of how critical the mission is.

Planet Fitness are excited to continue delivering on their mission with the first Victorian location opening in Corio Village later this year.

Corio Village will mark the fourth of five 2023 openings and will be the first of at least 4 Victorian locations scheduled to open by the end of 2024. Alongside the opening of General Public in Corio Village, Planet Fitness will truly transform this centre into a lifestyle destination for the Geelong community.
