HomeCo and Aventus Group enter into a $5 billion merger

Home Consortium (ASX:HMC) and HomeCo Daily Needs REIT (ASX:HDN) have entered into a binding Scheme Implementation Deed with Aventus Group (ASX:AVN) to acquire all AVN securities via schemes of arrangement, subject to certain conditions.

It is the biggest transaction yet for HomeCo. The Merger will create Australia’s leading Daily Needs REIT with a combined portfolio size of $4.1 billion.

Key portfolio statistics include:

• Total portfolio value of $4.1 billion
• More than 1,200 tenants across 51 properties
• Infrastructure network of 2.5 million square metres in Australia’s leading metropolitan markets and growth corridors

Both HDN and AVN Boards unanimously support the Merger.
