Sector moves and new appointments
Greg Ferguson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Pillow Talk Australia. Greg has been with Pillow Talk for 14 years, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer from 2020 to 2026, and prior to that as National Operations Manager. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in retail leadership, store operations, customer experience and team development. His experience spans national store networks, commercial performance, operational strategy and the continued growth of retail teams and customer experience. Greg succeeds Kate Spencer, following her 25-year tenure with the business.

Mark Buckley has been appointed National Property Manager at Petstock. Mark joins Petstock from Sleepy’s, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and oversaw finance, legal, property and corporate risk across the national retail franchisor and its company-owned store portfolio. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in the retail sector, with expertise across financial strategy, operational efficiency, commercial agreements, business sales and acquisitions, and property leasing. In his new role, Mark will support Petstock’s national property function and continued retail network growth.
Mark Ashton has been appointed Victorian Leasing Manager at Planet Fitness Australia. Mark joins Planet Fitness after nearly six years with Baby Bunting, where he was Group Property and Leasing Manager. During his time with Baby Bunting, Mark worked across the Large Format Retail sector, specialty retail, the development of Baby Bunting’s small format offer and the retailer’s entry into the New Zealand market. Mark brings extensive experience in retail property, leasing, landlord engagement and network growth. In his new role, he will support Planet Fitness Australia’s Victorian leasing activity as the business continues to expand its footprint and pursue new growth opportunities.
Rob Nucifora has been appointed General Manager – Asset Management at Leedwell. Rob brings more than 20 years’ experience across the commercial property sector, with a background in valuations and experience across retail, commercial and industrial assets. Over the past decade, he has specialised in asset management, leading teams and driving performance across large and diverse portfolios. Rob joins Leedwell from Spotlight Property Group and has previously held roles with Australia Post and Melbourne Airport. He brings a hands-on, commercial approach, with a strong focus on strategy, performance and long-term value.

Kyle Swain has been appointed Head of Property at Fitness Cartel Australia & New Zealand and Merse Wellness Spa. Kyle joins the business after serving as Group Leasing & Property Manager at Qscan Group, where he supported a national portfolio of more than 80 medical and diagnostic imaging practices. During his time with Qscan, he worked across acquisitions, greenfield and brownfield opportunities, lease portfolio optimisation and due diligence preparation. In his new role, he will support Fitness Cartel’s growth plans across Australia and New Zealand, including its publicly stated target of 60 clubs by 2030, as well as the continued expansion of Merse Wellness Spa.
Grant Turner has been promoted to Head of Sales and Leasing at RWC CSR Group. Grant brings nearly 20 years’ experience across commercial sales and leasing, with experience spanning Large Format Retail, childcare, service retail, industrial, office and development sites. Working closely with CEO Julie Ryan, he has a specialist focus on Large Format Retail and brings experience across marketing strategy, buyer management and commercial property campaigns. In his expanded role, Grant will support the continued growth and performance of RWC CSR’s sales and leasing team.
