  1. As one of the LFRA’s newest Associate Members, who is RE Ventured and how did the journey start?

RE Ventured is an independent property services firm founded in 2020. It has quickly become an active and highly sought after contributor to the retail, residential and industrial sectors on a national level.

RE Ventured specialises in development management, property advisory, acquisition and brokerage services. Through the application of complementary, multidisciplinary skills and expertise, RE Ventured is able to realise exceptional opportunities, approach projects with a holistic view and drive successful outcomes for its clients.

The founding Directors of RE Ventured bring unique skills and expertise from varying property and real estate backgrounds and are bonded by their retail and industrial focus.

Individually, they are recognised industry executives with proven track records. Within their respective disciplines, they encourage innovative, methodical, and pragmatic thinking and are not afraid of unconventional approaches and calculated risks.

 

  1. Can you tell us a bit more about your team’s background and expertise?

Glen Wright

Glen is a financially-orientated Development Manager, focussed on the creation,

management and growth of profitable real estate ventures.

Glen’s experience spans designing and constructing development projects, asset sales and acquisitions, retail and commercial leasing, capital raising, and investor relations.

To date his career has been characterised by a willingness to take calculated risks and the vigorous pursuit of new opportunities, while forming and maintaining lasting personal relationships.

  • Albion Train station Redevelopment (Brisbane)
  • Fairfield Homemaker Centre (Townsville)
  • 28 Jennifer Street – Industrial Commercial Development (Brisbane)
  • National Storage Development Portfolio (10 projects across AU and NZ)

James Bayer

James has a specialised skill set which is accredited to 20 years of experience in retail, commercial and mixed used developments as a Project Leader, Project Manager, Design Manager and Tenancy Coordinator.

James has a proven ability to assess, realise and capitalise development potentials. His experience allows him to interpret client requirements, and present design outcomes that are practical and opportunistic.

His passion and commitment is to the whole of project life, ensuring projects are delivered to quality, time, and budget.

James looks to forge genuine relationships with clients, and play a significant role in shaping the social, economic, and architectural future of all developments.

Rudi Scutti

Rudi has extensive experience within the commercial property industry and aligns this with both business acumen and tertiary qualifications.

He has a strong focus and relationship with private and institutional clients that own Large Format Retail assets, as well as local and national retailers.

Rudi also has extensive knowledge of the Southeast Queensland leasing market, working closely with clients on strategic implementation of leasing campaigns and asset repositioning across the region.

With a strong background in both retail leasing and business, Rudi can communicate with clients on both sides of the transaction to promote value and achieve favourable results.

RE Ventured brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Large Format Retailers from a variety of angles.

Utilising skillset in development management, design, tenancy coordination and leasing, RE Ventured offers a ‘one stop’ solution with whole of project lifecycle focus to Large Format Retail.

We are able to identify real opportunities and coordinate acquisitions, present genuine opportunities that are qualified by detailed feasibility, provide design advice and reviews, and execute all aspects of leasing deals.

RE Ventured’s strength lies within the retail industry, and specifically Large Format Retail.

The foundation of our success is our ability to liaise and assist both landlord, asset managers and tenants.

We are able to do this effectively by utilising our access to the latest industry data and our relationships with the largest asset owners.

  1. And finally, what can we expect from RE Ventured in coming months?

RE Ventured has recently concluded several acquisitions on behalf private and institutional clients.

We will soon be announcing our involvement in a number of retail, industrial, residential and self-storage projects across the east coast of Australia.

RE Ventured has been engaged by several retailers including The Yiros Shop to provide tenancy representation services and is actively seeking new sites for these operators.

The RE Ventured team is growing as it pursues growth and bolsters its ability to deliver high quality, bespoke client outcome.
