Ian Scott Robinson – LFRA Director & Executive Chairman, Beacon Lighting

Since commencing at Beacon Lighting in 1969 and then purchasing the company in 1975 Mr. Robinson has been the major shareholder and currently holds the position of Executive Chairman since July 2013 of Beacon Lighting. In 2007 and again in 2010 Beacon Lighting was awarded The Age, Dun & Bradstreet Victorian Business of the Year Award. Additionally, Mr. Robinson is a Director of the Lighting Council of Australia and in May 2019, was awarded the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his 50 years of experience in Australia’s lighting industry across the areas of manufacturing and retailing operations.

Mr Robinson held the position of President for the Large Format Retail Association Limited for 14 years from 2002 until January 2016 and continues as a Director.
