We’re incredibly proud to partner with FightMND for the sixth consecutive year to support the Big Freeze 10 campaign! This year, we’ll be selling the famous blue FightMND Beanies, along with limited edition Big Freeze 10 Buckets in all our Australian stores and online. Motor Neurone Disease, or MND, is a group of diseases that affect the motor neurones in the central nervous system. More than 2,000 brave Aussies are fighting MND and there’s no cure - yet. All funds raised going directly towards MND research and care initiatives. Drop into your local Bunnings or visit us online to buy a beanie or a bucket before 20 June, or come by for a snag at our national sausage sizzle at every store around the country on 25 May and team up to help us fight the ‘Beast’ that is MND.

Bunnings Workshop is the go-to for DIY help and inspo for over half a million Aussies every month. We’ve supported people with ideas and advice for their home improvement projects in our thriving online community since 2016. Our friendly and encouraging community posts thousands of tips, tricks and hacks every month. Resident Workshop DIY experts Mitchell, Eric, and Jacob pitch in alongside other Bunnings team members, so there’s technical advice on tap. Bunnings Workshop fans and avid DIYers Aletheia and Brent (pictured) love sharing projects from their Scandi-inspired renovation. The day after they settled on their 1990s home in Melbourne’s south-east, they gutted it down to the concrete slab. “The Bunnings Workshop team is always quick to provide their wealth of knowledge and advice to everyone - no question or project is left unanswered," Aletheia says. The couple’s secret to success is a positive mindset and taking the time to think through solutions. Their step-by-step bathroom makeover from dated-and-pink to light-and-stylish is a Workshop community favourite. Thanks to UPPAREL for helping to recycle the pre-loved uniforms of our team members! It’s fantastic to see our iconic Reds shirts, aprons, jumpers, and more given a new life away from landfill.
We're incredibly proud to share that we've been supporting Bunnings with the recycling of their team member’s old and pre-loved uniforms! ♻️ Rather than allowing their uniforms to be discarded into landfills, Bunnings has stepped up to utilise our mechanical recycling solutions to ensure their old uniforms are given a new life! Once the uniforms arrive at our facility, they will be decommissioned before being broken down into a fine fibre that we call FluffUP. This fibre can then be compressed and transformed for use as acoustics panels, signage, packaging, dog beds, furniture cushioning, and more! We’re super excited to be supporting Bunnings on this initiative! 🌏 #upparel #uptex #uniformrecycling #bunningswarehouse #textilewaste

Our team were proud to get out to Fed Square this month to once again participate in the Little Food Festival to bring smiles and a love for healthy food to kids during the school holidays. Our team members helped kids learn how to grow broccoli, parsley, and lettuce in biodegradable pots. The team loved sharing tips about how to care for their plants at home and where food comes from. We are incredibly grateful to the Sandro Demaio Foundation for once again hosting an amazing event and giving us the chance to get out and be involved with our community.

Since 2018, we’ve proudly partnered with Touch New Zealand to help grow and support Aotearoa’s Touch Rugby Community. Together, we launched ‘Bunnings Home Ground Heroes’ to celebrate the unsung heroes of Touch. We’re chuffed to announce this year’s five deserving Heroes, who will each receive $5,000 to reinvest in their local Touch communities: Jemma from Nelson, Diana from Kapiti Horowhenua, Steve from Rotorua, Lesley from North Harbour, and Dennis from Southland. Watch us surprise Jemma and Lesley, along with their Touch communities, with the news and thank them for all their amazing mahi, or work, for Touch Nelson and Touch North Harbour. Thanks to everyone who nominated their Bunnings Home Ground Hero this year, and a huge congratulations to the winners. We had a record number of entries, a true testament to how many deserving recipients there are contributing to their Touch communities and the game that’s loved all around New Zealand and further afield. We are pleased to welcome the incredibly talented Bunnings Graduate Class of 2024 into their new roles in our Support Centre. After a successful pilot last year, our Graduate Program has once again brought internal talent from our stores who have recently completed tertiary education into roles in departments including technology, marketing, merchandise, store development, finance, people & culture, and many more teams across our support function. Offering places in Support Centre roles to our own Bunnings talent who already know our business and our culture, will always be a priority. Our graduates will be offered a permanent role in our Support Centre after completing the 18-month Graduate Program where they will rotate through a variety of roles in their field to gain experience and develop their skills. Congratulations to Adrian, Annie, Ashleigh, Brooke, Campbell, Ethan, Jackson, Jessica, Josephine, Lily, and Thomas for their new roles in our Support Centre. We know how excited our grads are to hit the ground running, take on new challenges, and bring fresh ideas and energy to our team.

It was an absolute privilege to welcome nearly 50 leaders from more than 20 of the world’s best DIY retail companies to Bunnings, as part of a study tour with EDRA/GHIN - European DIY Retail Association / Global Home Improvement Network. It was great to be able to connect with our global peers at EDRA to listen, learn, share ideas, and strengthen our relationships across the industry. EDRA plays such an essential role in bringing our industry together and ensuring we can learn from one another no matter where we’re based in the world. We would like to express our overwhelming gratitude to our customers who visited our recent Easter Family Night. Through your generosity, $140,000 was raised and contributed for children’s hospitals and foundations across Australia and New Zealand. Not only were much-needed funds raised to help the most vulnerable members of our community, but some of our team also arranged for the Easter Bunny to deliver chocolates, toys, and smiles to the faces of patients in wards across the countries. Thank you so much to our amazing team who put on such a wonderful activity night for the community, and thanks once again to everyone who helped raise some vital funds for our children in need.
